Chaozhou ranks among "2025 Top 10 Best Cities for Food in China for Inbound Tourism"

Recently, the Launch Ceremony of the "Discover Guangdong" Global Campaign for Guangdong Inbound Tourism, hosted by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province and jointly organized by Ctrip and Tripadvisor, was unveiled at Canton Tower.

At the event, Tripadvisor announced the "2025 Top 10 Best Cities for Food in China for Inbound Tourists" list, providing global travelers with a guide for immersive experiences "from tastebuds to heart." Ten cities were selected based on their unique local culinary cultures, with Chaozhou securing the 4th position.

As a UNESCO-recognized "Creative City of Gastronomy," Chaozhou showcases the perse charm and millennia-old heritage of its cuisine to international food enthusiasts. From the fresh and sweet flavors of beef hotpot and the exquisite knife skills behind raw fish delicacies to the time-honored craftsmanship of traditional rice cakes, Chaozhou offers a comprehensive interpretation of its culinary culture.

Additionally, 10 "Taste of Guangdong: Tripadvisor's Guide to Cantonese Cuisine and Top Restaurant Picks" were recommended at the event. Hu Rong Quan (Taiping Road) in Chaozhou ranked 6th in the "Inbound Tourism Restaurant Recommendations."

Chaozhou wholeheartedly welcomes global travelers to savor its cuisine, admire its scenic Song-dynasty-inspired landscapes, and immerse themselves in its cultural charm.
